Ranch Information

“When working with a horse, particularly a troubled horse,

you’ll notice that he will spend a good portion of his time avoiding contact, physical and mental.”

Specialties

Kastlerock Ranch provides riding programs for children and adults in all aspects of horsemanship. There are wellness and therapy programs for veterans, law enforcement officers and first responders. We provide a safe environment for learning how to ride horses, and other important life’s lessons for the young. Our children's programs stress respect, compassion, determination, persistence, goal-oriented solutions, and leadership skills. Wellness programs for those who recognize the need for change in themselves and their interaction with family through ranching activities. This is a activity for the entire family to enjoy together.

History

Kastlerock Ranch started out as an idea in 2008 to help those children who would never be able to be around horses to have accessibility. As time passed, a summer horse camp started in 2012, teaching horsemanship to young children, all the aspects; from barn maintenance to nutrition and fitness. In 2014, a rain or shine, all year round weekend program was established. And in 2017 a veteran, law enforcement, and first responders and their families program was established for those veterans who are happy outward but need help inwardly.
